August 26, MPEX Staff met with the Board of Directors of the Society for the Advancement of Industry and University Relations in Amirkabir University.
The meeting was attended by Rasoul Shajari, Abbas Esmaeili (representatives of the Tehran Handmade Shoes Union), Ali Hassanzadeh (Iran Tanners Association), Reza Basir (Association of of Managers and Experts of Shoe Industry), Mohammad Reza Davarpanah (Union of Manufacturers and Exporters of Artificial Leather) and Mohsen Kheradmand (Tehran Saddlery Union). The meeting was dedicated to the first conference of Bag, Shoes, Leather and Related Industries CMPEX 2019. to Dr. Amirshahab Shahmiri, Member of the Board of Directors discussed about the importance of holding this conference and strengthening the links between universities and research institutes in the country with the industry. He expressed hope that this conference to be held internationally next year. Subsequently, the parties expressed their views, and it was finally agreed that following previous discussions the conference would coincide with the MPEX 2019 Exhibition, along with lectures by industry experts and workshops.
